You are having Twins! This line from the doctor to the expecting parents is the most amazing one as having twins is rare as well as challenging in a good way. Unless you are a twin, or have studied about twins or have given birth to twins, you are most likely to not know some facts about twins. Twins may or may not look alike but parents of twins always try to dress them alike and twins are always found together. There may be times when you have wished for your twin for anything. But there is a lot more to twins than we see. Learn some interesting things about twins you never knew about them.

1. Interestingly, twins can have different biological fathers. This is the case when two eggs are released and two different male donors fertilize each egg.

3. Twins live a very similar life even if they are separated by birth. There are so many stories of twins who were separated after birth and co-incidentally lead a very similar life like marrying twice that two with the women who shared same name, choosing same career path, naming their dogs with same name etc.

4. One twin can outgrow the other in the womb. Though in most cases, both the twins survived well but one is always bigger than the other one.
